New Englanders are pros when it comes to finding ways to keep warm in cold winter weather. One of our favorites is a warm mug of hot chocolate. There is just something comforting and cozy about a good hot chocolate. Here is how we make it at home:

yield: two servings

2 ounces Raaka Chocolate

12 ounces milk

Optional: For a richer cup of cocoa, use 10 ounces of milk and 2 ounces of cream.

Directions:

  1. Heat milk in a small pot over medium heat until it begins to steam.
  2. Add Raaka chocolate. Whisk constantly to prevent chocolate from burning.

3. After chocolate has melted and milk has begun to froth, pour into your favorite mug and top with Ellie’s marshmallows. Enjoy on a cold day!
