September brings with it some new sweet offerings on Ellie’s daytime and dinner dessert menus!

The pastry case is popping with rainbow hues thanks to our back-to-school September macaron collection, which drew its inspiration from Crayola crayons. Our team had a blast selecting some favorite colors and using them as a springboard for creating the bright flavors of Burnt Orange, Razzle Dazzle Rose, and Banana Mania.

September Macs

Burnt Orange features a salted caramel buttercream with burnt orange marmalade, while Razzle Dazzle Rose is composed of a raspberry rose buttercream with raspberry jam. Last but not least, Banana Mania boasts an irresistible brown butter buttercream with banana vanilla jam.

Pick up a box of 6 or 12 to take home to your littles as a sweet back-to-school surprise!

Our evening dessert menu has a new addition called the Gateau Basque, a tart from the Basque country of France that’s composed of a semolina frangipane filled with lemon buttermilk custard and a house made peach jam made with local peaches from Ward’s Berry Farm. It’s a perfect way to hold on to peach season for just a little longer before autumn really hits. We’re serving this warm brushed with honey and topped with Chantilly and bee pollen. Dinner service is offered on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5–9pm and Friday and Saturday from 5–10pm. Reservations can be made at: http://bit.ly/elliesreservation.

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both educative and interesting, and let me
tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is
something which too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I found this in my search for something relating to this.
