It starts with a team of compassionate bakers from Ellie’s in Providence who spend hours baking thousands of gingerbread people and continues with volunteers from diverse organizations and businesses across Rhode Island assembling Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread decorating kits at ReFocus in Providence.
The magic continues when people across the state purchase the boxed kits, which include an 8″ gingerbread person, packaged candies, and icing, with someone special in mind. The magic continues when the recipient discovers a fun craft and a delicious treat in one and learns their purchase has helped raise funds for Rhode Island families in need.
The culmination of this kindness movement?
Warmth
Warm winter clothing items, warm fluffy pillows and blankets, and warm hearts for needy families and cancer patients struggling to pay bills.
The Warm-A-Heart Gingerbread Program partners with community organizations to identify urgent needs throughout Rhode Island, offering swift financial support through purchases and donations.

*100% of the proceeds of these gingerbread kits are donated to the Warm-a-Heart program in partnership with Lifespan, City Year, Dave’s Marketplace, and Refocus to support families within our community.
LEARN ABOUT THE WARM-A-HEART GINGERBREAD PROGRAM
Orders must be placed by 1 PM on December 15th. Orders can be picked up on either Monday, December 23rd between 11-3 PM or Tuesday, December 24th between 8 AM - 3 PM.
